Früher oder später wird vermutlich bei jedem Leser der Wunsch aufkommen Italien zu besuchen. Und da liegt es nahe, nicht nach Rom zu gehen, sondern die Toskana zu sehen. Die bekannteste Stadt in der Toskana dürfte wohl Florenz sein. Wir hatten das Glück in der Nähe von Florenz in Sesto Fiorentino in dem ehemaligen Kloster „Tenuta Lonciano“ uns erholen zu können.

Das Aqua Hotel in Brüssel

Letzte Woche war ich dienstlich in Brüssel. Ein „günstiges“ und gutes Hotel zu finden in dieser Stadt ist nicht ganz einfach. In der Regel sind die Preise unverschämt und die Qualität auch nicht so gut. Ich erinnere mich noch sehr lebhaft an das Hotel Belmont (www.hotel-belmont.be) in der Nähe des Nordbahnofs.
